On Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, Barbara Sue (Rollins) Hamrick, mother of four, went to be with her Lord at the age of 86.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, James Charles Hamrick; and an infant sister.

Sue lived life as a selfless and compassionate caregiver. Serving professionally as a nurse, including coming out of retirement to offer her gifts as a home health care nurse, she answered a calling to be there for those in need. Sue was a follower of Christ who was not only an avid student of His teachings, but a practitioner of His word throughout daily life. Her greatest passion, one that continued through her final moments on this earth, was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In all these endeavors, Sue was an exceptionally successful woman.
