Mr. George Alfred Laux of Cullman, Alabama passed away Aug. 20, 2019.
He was born Dec. 24, 1932 to Mathias and Elizabeth Laux.
His wife, Dorothy Louise Laux, preceded him in death along with their daughter Carolyn Laux, and parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters: Debbie Laux and Pat Sims; sister Ann Brown; brother John Laux; along with grandchildren Ashleigh Sims, A.J. Sims and Ally Sims.
Family will receive friends at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 23, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Catholic Cemetery. Father Patrick Egan, OSB will be officiating.
The family requested in lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Bernard Prep Educational Foundation and Cullman County Child Development Center Playground Fund.
