CULLMAN, Ala. – United Way of Cullman County’s (UWCC) Stuff the Bus school supply drive ended recently, with a total that Public Relations Manager Michele Dingler said Monday far exceeded last year’s number of more than 11,000.
“We exceeded last year’s total,” smiled Dingler. “This year’s total is 14,753 items, and we still have items coming in!”
The Stuff the Bus Drive recently received two large donations of more than 400 items from Wal-Mart Distribution.
Employees Katie Randall, Jennifer Harding, Amber Sandlin, and Sally Hamm of local accounting firm Warren Averett volunteered Monday to help UWCC count the donated items.
