CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County Animal Shelter volunteer Donna Ruttkay introduces The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week:
“This sweet girl is Breezy. She was scared, but now is free! Breezy was so fun to photograph, as her true self was being revealed! She likes carrying a small stuffed giraffe.”
Breezy is a 1-year-old bulldog/Catahoula mix. She’s a seriously laid-back, low-energy pet. She came to the shelter scared and skittish, but she’s settled down to a quiet and unassuming disposition. She’s great on her leash and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She has also shown a fondness for dog toys.
Breezy could be a good companion, therapy or emotional support dog.
Animal shelter staff and volunteers work with their dogs to make sure they are accustomed to being around people, walking on a leash and practicing good behavior. Several of the shelter’s dogs have even been “hired” to work as therapy and special needs service dogs.
Breezy’s adoption fee is $90 which includes: DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet, spaying, microchip, free 30-day health insurance policy issued by 24PetWatch (with valid email only) and a free bag of food from Cullman Pet Depot (you must pay sales tax).
Please consider adopting to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
