FAIRVIEW, Ala. – This Saturday, July 27, vehicle enthusiasts can come out to Randall Shedd Community Park to support the Fairview High School marching band at its fifth annual All Wheel Show & Festival. From 9 a.m.-2 p.m., visitors can enjoy live music, free inflatables, the National Guard rock climbing wall, various food trucks, local arts and crafts vendors and a wide variety of vehicles on display.

Event organizers encourage visitors to “bring anything with wheels, bring your family and have an awesome time!”

Fairview Band Booster Michelle Watwood said the money raised from the event will go toward instruments for the band.

“Our sousaphones, our tubas, they’re over 20 years old,” she said. “We’re hoping to make as much money as possible to repair them, but if we’re really successful, we may be able to replace them entirely.”

Watwood said the band also needs new drum equipment and new music stands, as they are also more than 20 years old.

Admission to the event is free. Randall Shedd Community Park (Fairview Town Park) is located at 605 Wesley Ave. N in Fairview. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to Saturday, Aug. 3.
