JONES CHAPEL, Ala. – A three-vehicle crash today, June 27, in Cullman County has claimed one life and injured four others. William Ezekiel Lee, 19 of Hartselle was killed when the 1999 Ford Mustang he was driving struck a 2011 Sion. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Scion and two passenger, along with the driver of a third vehicle that was involved in the crash, a 2016 Ford F-150 were all transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. The crash occurred at 6:40 a.m. on Alabama 278 at the 67 mile marker one mile east of Jones Chapel. ALEA Troopers continue to investigate the crash, and nothing further is available. JONES CHAPEL, Ala. – One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash along U.S. Highway 278 West near Crooked Creek Bridge Thursday morning.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick identified the victim as William Ezekiel Lee, 19, of Cullman.
Kilpatrick said the wreck happened at approximately 6:40 a.m.
Lee was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two drivers were taken to Cullman Regional for treatment of their injuries.
Nothing further is available at this time.
