Bobbie Mae Calloway Shults, of Fairview, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019.
Mrs. Shults was born Dec. 10, 1926 to Robert C. and Eva Mae Crutchfield Calloway. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 67 years, Coach Joseph Shults. She was also preceded in death by brothers J.W., Robert Clarence, Raymond, Herbert, Chester, Lester and Earl Calloway and by sisters Ottomese Griffin, Magdalene England, Margaret Hill, Roberta Smith, Helon Bone and Elizabeth Denson.
Mrs. Shults is survived by her children Gary (Judy) Shults and Sharon (John) Drake; brother Elwyn (Jane) Calloway; grandsons Isaac (Ellen) Shults, Joel (Jessica) Shults, Will (Mallory) Drake, Jake Drake, and Chad (Leigh) Leopard; cherished great grandchildren Max, Rand and Margaret Shults, Ruby Shults, Judah and Asher Drake, Ann, Virginia, Cal and Jane Leopard; a host of nieces and nephews and her loving caregivers.
Mrs. Shults devoted her life to her Savior Jesus Christ and her husband, family and friends. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Fairview on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Dr. David Chambers officiating. She will lie-in-state from 10 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church of Fairview. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
