HOLLY POND, Ala. – The Holly Pond Class of 2019 will hold its graduation ceremony Saturday, May 25 at 4 p.m. at Wallace State Community College’s Tom Drake Coliseum. There are 71 graduates this year, who earned more than $966,000 in college scholarships, not including military appointments.
The class song is “You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins. The class flower is the white rose. The class motto is “Don’t tell us the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.” The class colors are green and white.
Class officers are President, Lili Harris; Vice President, Evan Rainey; Treasurer, Katie Smith; and Secretary, Tess Duke.
Holly Pond High School Principal Kim Butler shared, “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 2019 graduating class of Holly Pond High School. It has been an honor to be your principal and to observe as you have grown and matured throughout high school. Your hard work and dedication over the past 13 years has brought you to this pivotal point in your life. Soak it all in and enjoy this time. I know that you have the foundation to be successful as you enter college or start to work. I encourage you to dream big and be persistent in the pursuit of those dreams. Go Broncos!”
