It is with great sadness that the family of Cecilia Claudette Bavar of Cullman, AL announces her passing on May 24, 2019 at the age of 59 from her battle with cancer.
Mrs. Bavar was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Pauline Rhoades Swann.
She will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Charles R. Bavar; daughters: Nancy (Larry) Gillott and Sonya (Ronny) Bennefield; grandchildren: Kayla Bennefield, Heather (Nick) Black, Cortney Bennefield, Mahala Benefield, Josh Gillott and Trentin Bennefield; great-grandchildren: Brayden Bennefield and Aubrie Black; sisters: Betty Thompson, Catherine Howard, Doris Ray and Wanda Frazier; brothers: Billy Champion and Harold Swann.
Family will receive friends on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Shelton Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 3 p.m. with Brother Richard Bailey officiating the service. She will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the start of service.
