Ann Chandler Smith, 84 of Cullman, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019.
Ann was a loving mother and grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an Alfa Insurance Agent in Cullman for 40+ years before retirement. She attended 4th Street Church of Christ and was a member there. Ann loved to travel, her favorite place was in the mountains of Gatlinburg. Being on the farm with all the animals brought her much joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Lillie Tucker Chandler; brother, Dudley “Sonny” Chandler and sisters: Carolyn Muphree and Alesia Cupp.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Blane Daniel; grandchildren: Chandra (Bailey) Mahler, Haley (Richard) Hock and Hunter Daniel; great grandchildren; Kaylee Smith, Clay Mahler, Zeke Mahler, Peyton Hock, Lilli Hock and Easton Hock along with a host of nieces and nephews and special friend/caregiver; Leysha Canady.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Moss Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Randolph officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
