CULLMAN, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists that crews will be repairing guardrail next week at various locations on Interstate 65 in Cullman County between Exit 299 (Alabama 69 in Dodge City) and the Morgan County line.
Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 15, weather permitting.
The work areas include milepost 317 southbound, milepost 299 northbound, milepost 301 northbound and milepost 317 northbound. Single-lane closures will be implemented during work hours. Please expect delays. Be prepared to merge and reduce speed, and be on the lookout for workers and equipment.
Additionally, the outside southbound lane of Interstate 65 at the Tennessee River Bridge will be closed from about 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m. on Monday, May 13 for replacement of a navigation light.
Please expect delays, drive with caution, and be prepared to reduce speed and merge.
