Shirley Faye Overton, 75, of Haleyville, Alabama entered into rest on May 8, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.
Shirley was born Dec. 14, 1943 in Cherokee, Alabama.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville; where memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Brother Alvis Treece will officiate.
Shirley is survived by her sons, James Curtis (Angie) Overton and Allen Ray Overton; daughters, Sheila Faye Overton, Regina Lynn Byrne, Teresa Gail (Tommy) Owsley, and Lora Ann Overton; brothers, Mike and Bill Harris; “Maw Maw” to 15 grandchildren: Jamie White, Whitney Cornelius, Tona Michelle Colegrove, Eric Wayne Overton, Rachel Ann Rollins, Mike Byrne, Chris Byrne, Kaylie Byrne, Samantha Morris, Junior Overton, Cheyenne Bard, Shannah Brewer, Anna Brewer, Kayla Kepher, and Katlin Owsley and 29 great grandchildren: Autumn White, Izack White, Emma White, Alyssa Harvell, Easton Cornelius, Trevor, Alyssa Gosa, Araeya Colegrove, Presley Sickles, Darian Overton, Donavin Overton, Savannah Owens Overton, Connar Owens Overton, Malachi Douglas Overton, Jaden Overton, Xavier Overton, Mielia Overton, Miles Bryne, Abagail Overton, Owen Bryne, Rylie Morris, Gracie Morris, Oliver Morris, Nevaeh Overton, Kynlie Overton, Jaxon Bard, Matthew Bard, Savannah Kepner, and Tammy Kepner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Overton; her parents, George and Lora Harris; and brothers, Bob and Frank Harris.
