Alberta Irene Durham, 92, was born on Dec. 28, 1926 and passed away on May 8, 2019.
Mrs. Durham was a member of 7th Street Baptist Church. She was very involved in working in the children’s ministries there. She volunteered in the nursery, Mother’s Day Out program and with Vacation Bible School. She also worked in the missions programs and enjoyed being in the XYZ’s class. She worked in an administrative role at the Cullman County Electrical Co-op for 25+ years until retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Cora Bland; husband, Estus Durham; Step-son, Dwight Durham and Step-daughter, Nell Ann Daniels. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Dale (Dean) Quick; grandchildren: Mike (Donna) Durham, Dee Dee Durham Mosley, Nell (Tommy) McWhorter, Del (James) Franklin and Pam Daniels Miller; six great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Alberta Irene Durham will be on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Kerry Cleghorn and Bro. Eric Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
