GADSDEN, Ala. – The Fairview Lady Aggies were at Silver Lakes Golf Course for the North Sub-State Regional Tournament in Gadsden on Tuesday and after posting an 86, Lauren Lawson is advancing to this year’s state tournament in Prattville next week. The sophomore finished her round with back to back birdies on 17 and 18 to help her qualify as an individual and finish as the low medalist for Fairview.
The Lady Aggies finished tied for fourth as a team with Scottsboro after both squads posted a score of 285. Good Hope was also in the field at Silver Lakes and places seventh after shooting a team score of 336.
The 2019 AHSAA State Golf Tournament will be held at RTJ Capitol Hill in Prattville May 13th and 14th.
