PREP TRACK & FIELD: Local teams put together strong weekend at sectional meets; full sectional results

Sectionals are in the books for local track and field squads and several athletes will be moving on to their respective state meets in May. Several teams collected top three finishes over the weekend, starting with Cold Springs’ boys who placed first at the 4A Section 4 meet and the Lady Eagles put together a second-place finish. Vinemont’s girls and Hanceville’s boys took home third place finishes, St. Bernard’s boys and girls both finished as runners-up at the 1A Section 3 meet and Cullman’s boys and girls each put together second place finishes at their meet as well.
