Thomas “Tommy” Lee Piper, 49, of Cullman, Alabama passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019. He was born Nov. 9, 1969 to W.O. and Berniece McGavic Piper.
Tommy enjoyed fishing, golfing, building racecars, Alabama football and spending time with his dog, Daisy. He was a custom car builder for a long time. Tommy also enjoyed working at Marshall Space Flight Center with an awesome group of people. He was always willing to help anyone in any way he could. He loved life, his friends and family.
Those who preceded Tommy in death are his parents and grandparents: William and Sallie McGavic, Lee Owen Piper, and Dorothy Piper.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Mitzi (Jerome) Wood; brothers: Kenny Piper, Bill (Pam) Piper, Anthony Piper, Mike (Regina) Piper, and Jayson (Ewa) Piper; uncle, James (Joy) McGavic; nieces and nephews: B.J. (Savannah) Wood, Kristen (Nic) Gragg, Alex (fiancé Jesse Kelley) Piper, Chris (Melanie) Piper, Kayla (Jeff) Reel, Zac Piper, and Emma Piper; his dog, Daisy; and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Mr. Piper will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 6 p.m. 9 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Cullman Memory Gardens.
