Funeral services for David Timothy “Dave” Smith, 69, of Cullman are Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home, Rev. Tommy Graves and Rev. Larry Heatherly officiating, with interment in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Mr. Smith passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019. He was born March 2, 1950 in Arab. He was an Eagle Scout and served in the Merchant Marines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Renee Justice Smith; brother, Steven Smith; sister, Terri (Ray) Bentley and nephew, Kevin Bentley.
He is survived by his wife, Cecelia “CC” Smith; children, April (Craig) Box, Angela (Thomas) Fossett, Jody Cantrell and Joshua (Tiffany) Cantrell; grandchildren, Shelby Dowdell, Aubrey Box, Allen Burgess, Stephanie Burgess, Jacob Cantrell, Jeremiah Cantrell, Joseph Cantrell, Jamen Cantrell, Olivia Cluxton, Madeline Cluxton and Ryder Cantrell; great grandchildren, Jaxton, Ashlynn, Jayden, Journey, Kennedy, Jazzel, Lyla, Jayce and Atlas; aunts and uncles, Geraldine “Pete” Bolen, Frances Justice, Clyde (Rachel) Smith and Charles Brown; niece, Randi Thomas; nephew, Jonathan (Sarah) Bentley; great nephews, Xavior, Alex and Brysen; brothers/sisters-in-law, Mike and Pat Hammonds and Rick and Janice Thomas.
