CULLMAN, Ala. – The Lady Bearcats hosted Decatur for a rainy area matchup on Thursday and Cullman was able to pull away with a 6-3 win.

Abby Branham scored three goals and collected an assist in the win while Mimi Lunsford, Ashlei Bryant and Pia Muri (one assist) scored goals for the Lady Bearcats as well. Jeta Falcon finished the game with an assist.

Head Coach Jacob Brown was proud of the way his team played in the muddy conditions and is ready for the next matchup with the Lady Red Raiders.

“It was a very tough game. We made some mistakes and faced some adversity, but I was happy with how our girls responded,” Brown said. “Definitely going to be a tough rematch but looking forward to it.”
