Funeral service for Lew Ed Paden will be Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 10 a.m., at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Dr. Edwin Hayes will officiate. Interment will be at Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Paden, 105, of Cullman passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. He was born Oct. 21, 1913, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to George Washington Paden, Sr. and Bertha Roxie Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 78 years, Hilda Hughes Paden; son, John Edward Paden; six brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Paden, a veteran, served his country in WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Eileen Paden; granddaughter, Karen (Don) Farley; great-grandsons Bryant (Lexi) Farley, Brandon Farley, and Maddox Farley; and great-great-grandson, Brycen Farley.
