Funeral Service for Hulen Franklin Thomas, age 85, of Baileyton, will be at noon on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Lipsey officiating; interment in Welcome Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thomas passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Cullman Regional. He was born Nov. 14, 1933 to Herman Oscar and Gladys Fannie Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bertie Bryant Thomas; grandson, Caleb Chapman; and brothers, Eules Thomas and Alfred Thomas.
Survivors include his daughter, Debbie (Ronnie) Bright; son, Gary Thomas; daughter, Kathy (Michael) Smith; son, Danny Thomas; son, David (Sandy) Thomas; son, Ricky (Sonya) Thomas; daughter, Linda (Craig) Chapman; grandchildren, Brandy (Jason) Glover, Jeffrey (Kendolyn) Shumate, Matthew Bright, Wes Smith, Wade Smith (Megan Thrower), Tasha Thomas, Nathan Thomas (Kellie Cusimano), Desiree (Justin) Wilson, Miranda Edge, Matthew Edge (Sabrina Russell), Amber (Michael) Ryan, Lindsey (Joseph) Gardner, and Haley Chapman (Brandon Easterwood); twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Dean Bailey Borum.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
