WEST POINT, Ala.– Visitation and funeral service details have been announced for West Point Mayor Kenneth Kilgo. Kilgo passed away Monday morning, Feb. 18 at the age of 61.

Funeral Service for Kenneth Denoy Kilgo, age 61, of Vinemont, will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Trimble officiating; interment in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kilgo passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1957, to Denoy and Edna Ruth Kilgo.
He is preceded in death by his father, Denoy Kilgo, and sister, Sharon Perkins.
Survivors include his daughter, Nicolette Kilgo; sister, Libby (Charlie) Youmans; brother, Shawn Kilgo; mother, Edna Ruth Kilgo; and a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saving Forgotten Warriors, 1528 Peachtree Ln NW, Cullman, AL 35058. Also, the family would like for everyone to support the food pantry founded by Mr. Kilgo. Donations may be made throughout the year at the West Point Town Hall.
