Laura Jean Allen, age 52, of Cullman, passed away on Feb. 17, 2019, at UAB Hospital. She was born April 30, 1966, to Herman and Shirley Shaw.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Shaw.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Jimmy Allen; daughter, Stephanie Allen; two sons, Jason Allen and Josh Allen; three grandchildren, Isaiah Barnett, Lillian Barnett, and Starr Pace; mother, Shirley Shaw; three brothers, Jim Shaw, Herman Shaw, Jr., and Freddy Shaw; one sister, Connie Ankrom; a host of nieces and nephews; and many adopted sons and daughters.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Funeral service for will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; burial at Jones Chapel Cemetery.
