Funeral services for Mr. Lenzell "Sonny" Williams, age 73, of Cordova, formerly of Trimble; will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 in the Chapel of Cullman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Trimble.
He was born on Oct. 16, 1945 and passed away at Walker Baptist Medical Center on Feb. 16, 2019. Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, Lois G. Williams & Minnie Lee McLeroy Williams; two sisters, Maedean Peel and Vonzell Clark; two brothers, James "Buck" Williams and Ray Williams.
Survivors include; brother, Levon (Bonnie) Williams; brother-in-law, Jack Clark; nieces and nephews; Misty (John) Ward, Julie (Will) Calloway, Shanda (Curt) Morales, Tammy Peel, Lois Peel, Bonnie Baker, Brenda (Robert) Shouse, Billy (Kat) Tolliver, Jeff (Lisa) Tolliver, Georgia Jones, Michelle (Michael) Nix, Gary (JeAnn) Williams, Kevin (Tina) Williams, Pee Wee (Sue) Williams, Debra Hudson, Barry (Kelly) Williams, Rita Williams, Johnny Williams, Michelle Buford and Corbin Williams; and a host of cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday night at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
