HUNTSVILLE – The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists that the following lane closures are planned:
- The outside lane and shoulder of Interstate 65 northbound will be closed at Exit 318 (U.S. 31 at Lacon) from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb.1.
- U.S. 231 northbound will be reduced to one lane at the south end of the Whitesburg Bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1.
- The outside lane and shoulder of I-65 southbound at the south end of the Tennessee River Bridge (mile marker 337) will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4.
- The outside lane and shoulder of I-65 southbound at Exit 334 (Alabama 67 in Priceville) will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan additional travel time or use alternate routes. When approaching work zones, please slow down and be prepared to merge.
