JONES CHAPEL – One person was killed in a single-vehicle wreck at County Road 1114 and County Road 1092 near Jones Chapel Wednesday afternoon.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick said David Anthony Smith, 54, of Vinemont was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alabama State Trooper Public Information Officer Chuck Daniel said in a media release that the crash happened at 1:45 p.m. He said the 2000 Dodge Durango Smith was driving left the roadway on County Road 1114 and overturned. Smith, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
