CULLMAN COUNTY – A Falkville teenager was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning, according to Alabama State Troopers. The victim, 16, was officially identified Wednesday morning as Jacob Shedd,16, by Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick.
A media release from Troopers said the 16-year-old driver was killed when the 2017 Chevrolet Cruz he was driving left Cullman County Road 1212 and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said the crash occurred at 2:55 a.m., 9 miles west of Vinemont.
Nothing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.
