10th Annual Parkside Pumpkin Run- 9 a.m.
12431 Alabama Highway 69, Baileyton
Parkside School will be hosting its 10th annual race – The Great Pumpkin Run – at 9 a.m. This will be a fun 5K run through Baileyton, beginning at the school and ending at the park. All ages and experience groups are invited. Childcare will be provided at no cost for parents who wish to participate in the 5K. Don’t like to run? Walkers are welcome! Want to sleep in? You can buy a T-shirt and we’ll hold it for you at the school.
Following the awards ceremony, we will offer a tour of the Hogwarts Hallway at Parkside for all participants and their guests.
Holly Pond Vintage Market- 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Governor’s Park, Holly Pond
The owners of Holly Pond antique store The Middle of Nowhere are teaming up with the Town of Holly Pond Town Council to host the second annual Holly Pond Vintage Market at Governor’s Park. The event will showcase antiques, vintage and handmade items from local businesses and vendors and more. There will also be children’s activities and live entertainment provided by local Cullman band Round 2, as well as Jesse Priest. Delicious foods like homemade cinnamon rolls, fried pies, chili, grilled hot dogs, corn on the cob and gourmet popcorn will be available, along with farm-fresh eggs and pumpkins.
Spook the Lake- 1-5 p.m.
Smith Lake
Spook the Lake is basically Trick or Treating, Smith Lake Style! Decorate your docks and hand out candy/other goodies to kids coming by boat. Fun for all!

Join us for a free night of family fun! Campers are encouraged to decorate their campsites and others are encouraged to decorate their car trunks with family-friendly decorations for the event. Trick or treating will take place through the campground area. Those with decorated campsites and trunks are encouraged to pass out individual sealed candy. Contests for Best Decorated Campsites and Car Trunks. Armbands available for hayrides, bounce houses, and train rides. Concessions for purchase.

Many groups put on horror houses in the days and weeks leading up to Halloween, but Church 212 has decided this year to get really frightening by depicting the real-life horror of drug addiction based on the experiences of actual victims of addiction from the Cullman area.
