Happy Homes Real Estate Community Appreciation Event
6:30-10 p.m.
Cullman Festhalle, 209 First Ave. SW
-Free event with live music by Round 2
-Free hot dogs, chips and drinks. (Adult beverages also available for purchase)
-Kids play area with inflatables, corn hole and other games.
-Door prizes

Saturday, Sept. 29
Sacred Heart School Annual Street Sale
6 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sacred Heart School, 112 Second Ave. SE
Sacred Heart School PTA's annual Street Sale will be in Family Life Center – all items remaining after 2 p.m. will be half-price until 4 p.m. – food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the day – all proceeds benefit Sacred Heart School.
Sportsman Lake Park Countywide Yard Sale
7 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Alabama Exotic Pet Expo
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cullman Civic Center
$5 for adults
$1 for kids 12 and younger
Smith Lake Country Music Festival
Gates open at noon
Smith Lake Park, 403 County Road 386
Tickets for the event, which organizers say is for the whole family to enjoy, are $15. Children five and younger are free. Gates open at noon.
The festival has eight country music acts confirmed including:
-Ally Knight (Good Hope)
-Jesse Priest (Holly Pond)
-Elijah Borders
-Abby Hufnagle
Featured acts include:
-Leah Starlight (“Redneck Housewives of Alabama”)
-Smithfield (Nashville)
-Brandon Elders (“American Idol” alum from Arab)
-Adam Doleac (Nashville)
The first artist will go on stage at 2 p.m. with the final act performing at 10. The entire cast of the television show “Redneck Housewives of Alabama” will be at the event to meet and greet fans.
The festival will have a kids’ zone area with inflatables and a rock-climbing wall. A cornhole tournament will also take place to benefit Cullman nonprofit Saving Forgotten Warriors.
