CULLMAN – Visitation and service information for Cullman Today founder Tim Collins has been announced. Collins passed away Monday following a brief illness.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Cullman Heritage on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville.

Hanceville Mayor Kenneth Nail said on Facebook Tuesday: "As everyone knows Tim was a Hanceville resident. He was very supportive of all first responders in this county. Before he passed he was made an honorary firefighter of Cullman County. After the service his casket will be placed on the back of a Hanceville fire truck and we will go in procession to Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. All first responders police fire and EMS are invited to participate in this procession."
