BREMEN – A Bremen woman drowned in Smith Lake over the weekend.
The body of Jamie Mardell Martin, 28, was found early Sunday morning in the water near a residence on County Road 67 in the community of Bremen, according to Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick.
A spokesman for the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office said the incident is under investigation.
