GOOD HOPE – Good Hope High School and Principal John Hood welcomed the Cullman County Community Development Commission (CCCDC) on campus Monday afternoon for a special presentation. A $50,000 grant was awarded to Good Hope High School at the CCCDC's May meeting and CCCDC board members Brad Williams and Jamie Speakman were on-hand to present the check to Hood. The money is going to be used for a new HVAC system in the school's gymnasium. No official timetable is in place, but Hood said he wants to have the new equipment installed as soon as possible.
