The Cullman City School Board (Nick Griffin for The Tribune)
CULLMAN – The Cullman City Board of Education held its monthly board meeting Tuesday and got the new business items started by approving a one-time stipend for all Cullman City Schools (CCS) employees. The stipend is for “the continued valuable service of CCS employees for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.”
The payment will be made during the first month of each employee’s 2018-2019 contract year. The amount of the payment will equal two months of the increase in the contracted salary for 2018-2019, taking into consideration the 2.5 percent state raise and any applicable step increases, when compared to the 2017-2018 contracts.
