VINEMONT – Two people have died following a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 31 North in Vinemont Monday afternoon.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick confirmed the fatalities. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other died while being transported to Huntsville Hospital.
The two-vehicle wreck happened in the 19000 block of Hwy. 31 North, just north of County Road 1343.
Identities of the victims have not been officially released at this time.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating.
