CULLMAN COUNTY – A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Cullman County claimed the life of a Decatur man Tuesday morning. Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick confirmed the fatality and identified the victim as Jason Edward Echols, 45.
The wreck happened near the 297 mile marker around 7:30 a.m. Authorities said the vehicle was traveling north, crossed the median barrier and ended up southbound in the median.
Details of the crash will be reported when Alabama State Troopers release them.
