A grand opening celebration for the new Cullman Regional Urgent Care and Imaging Center will be held on May 31; it will include a "Teddy Bear Check-up," where children can bring their favorite teddy bear, doll or stuffed animal for a check-up with the Urgent Care staff. CULLMAN – Cullman Regional will hold a grand opening event for the Cullman Regional Urgent Care and Imaging Center on Thursday, May 31 from 2:30-5 p.m.
According to the hospital, the open house is free, and the public is welcome. It will include giveaways including T-shirts for children and adults, tours of the facility and refreshments, free health screenings, a Kona Ice Truck serving free shaved ice, and a Teddy Bear Check-up, where children can bring their favorite teddy bear, doll or stuffed animal for a check-up with the Urgent Care staff.
“This is an exciting time for Cullman Regional,” said James Clements, Cullman Regional CEO. “We look forward to opening the Urgent Care and Imaging Center in order to meet the needs of our community. We are grateful for everyone’s support throughout this project.”
A statement from the hospital said the center will officially open for patients on Tuesday, June 5. The Urgent Care Center will be open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The Imaging Center will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for outpatient MRI, CT and X-ray procedures. The pharmacy located at the Urgent Care Center will be open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
