East Elementary, Cullman Middle win state archery titles; Vinemont Middle snags 2nd place; West Point High, Vinemont Elementary claim 4th

MONTGOMERY – East Elementary and Cullman Middle School’s archery squads captured first place finishes in Montgomery Friday at the 2018 National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Alabama State Championship Tournament. Cullman Middle School edged out Vinemont with a 3,344-point performance and East Elementary posted a top score of 3,242, narrowly defeating Dixon Elementary by 23 to capture its third state title in a row. West Point High School and Vinemont Elementary showed out as well, finishing fourth in their respective divisions.

Also from Cullman County: Hanceville Elementary came in 15th, West Point Middle came in 12th and Good Hope High came in sixth,
