CULLMAN – The rumors are true! Annette Harris has been hinting for several days that Rumors Deli would be ready to open soon in its new location at 601 Fourth St. SW, across from the Shell on West Main, and bright and early Monday morning the iconic Cullman area eatery quietly opened its doors.
“We weren’t going to tell anybody,” said Harris, “because we’re just going to kind of work out the kinks and get things going, but we’re open today. It’s the first real day we’re open.”
For longtime Rumors fans, all your old favorites are still on the menu, and there will be a few new things coming, as well.
Rumors is open until 3 p.m. Monday, and will operate at its regular hours for the rest of the week. Phone lines are not working yet, but should be up and running soon. For now, though, you’ll just have to stop by and see them!
