CULLMAN – Donna Ruttkay from the Cullman County Animal Shelter introduces us to Copper, The Cullman Tribune’s Pet of the Week.

“This is one of the kindest dogs I've met!” exclaimed Ruttkay.

“Copper is a hound/boxer mix. He is neutered, approximately 2 years old. He is safe, warm and dry and is available for adoption. He is quieter than most. He is low-energy, submissive and floats on his leash. He is respectful of your space… seems he'd rather have you close by, especially when he eats his lunch. He's confused as to why he's temporarily dwelling at the Cullman County Animal Shelter.”

Copper's adoption fee is only $5, which is “not indicative of his worth!” said Ruttkay. The fee includes a free 45-day health insurance policy issued by 24PetWatch (with valid email only) and a free bag of food from Cullman Pet Depot (you must pay sales tax).

He doesn't require a veterinarian's visit and will be able to leave the same day as being adopted.

Please consider adopting to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
