CULLMAN – The Cullman County Animal Shelter’s Donna Ruttkay introduces us to this week’s Pet of the Week, Lewis.

He’s a mixed-breed dog whom Ruttkay describes as a large version of a wire-haired fox terrier.  The 1-year-old pup is a medium energy pet, but animated and might make a good jogging partner.  He really enjoys stretching his legs in the outdoors.  He’s a quick learner who’s taking to his leash, and he loves to be loved on.  Lewis has already been neutered, so his adoption fee has been reduced to only $5!

Good News!

Last week’s Pet of the Week, Esther, has already been adopted and is on her way to Colorado, where she will begin her new career as a nursing home therapy dog.

Please consider adopting to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
