Class 1A, Area 12: Meek 68, Marion County 63 (Boys)
The Tigers defeated Marion County, a team they lost to in the championship game last season, to win their second area title in the last three years. They are now 24-5 overall on the season and will host their sub-regional game on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Their opponent is TBD.
Class 2A, Area 13: St. Bernard 52, Falkville 49 (OT) (Boys)
The Saints wiped out an early 18-point deficit in the first half, then won the game in overtime in a thrilling comeback to win the area championship for the first time since the 2014-2015 season. They improve to 16-5 overall and will host their sub-regional game on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Mars Hill Bible.
Class 3A, Area 11: Holly Pond 68, Locust Fork 37 (Boys)
The no. 5 Broncos (26-3) rolled past Locust Fork to win their ninth-straight area championship. They will take on Colbert Heights at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in their sub-regional game, and will look to make their second straight trip to Wallace.
Class 4A, Area 10: Cordova 86, Good Hope 53 (Boys)
The Raiders fell to the no. 1-ranked Cordova Blue Devils in their area championship game. They fall to 16-14 overall; Good Hope will travel to Deshler on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in their sub-regional game.
Class 6A, Area 14: Albertville 42, Cullman 40 (OT) (Boys)
The Bearcats fought hard against Albertville for the area championship, but fell just two points short in overtime. Cullman falls to 18-12 overall and will have to travel on Tuesday for their sub-regional game. Their opponent is TBD.
The Cold Springs Lady Eagles (Class 2A, Area 13 champions) will host Tanner (Class 2A, Area 16 runner-up) on Monday at 7 p.m.
The Hanceville Bulldogs (Class 3A, Area 12 champions) will take on East Lawrence (Class 3A, Area 15 runner-up) at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Fairview Lady Aggies (Class 5A, Area 12 champions) will host Mae Jemison (Class 5A, Area 15 runner-up) on Monday at 7 p.m.
The West Point Lady Warriors (Class 5A, Area 12 runner-up) will travel to Lee-Huntsville (Class 5A, Area 15 champions) on Monday at 7 p.m.
