Hanceville 51, No. 4 Locust Fork 48 (Girls)
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 17-8 overall with one of their biggest wins of the season as they stunned the no. 4 ranked Locust Fork Lady Hornets in their final regular season home game.
Hanceville 52, Locust Fork 30 (Boys)
The Bulldogs finished off a successful day on the varsity side of things as they defeated Locust Fork in their final regular season home game. They are now 14-8 overall and will finish off their season with a road game at Good Hope.
Fairview 53, Curry 22 (Girls)
Tuesday was a historic night for Mary Lauren Hartline and the Fairview Lady Aggies. They easily took care of Curry in a home match-up, and that gave Hartline her 100th win as head coach, while senior Taylor Yeager reached the 100-win plateau with the program as well. The Lady Aggies are now 20-6 overall on the season and 6-0 in the region.
Fairview 63, Curry 49 (Boys)
Fairview took care of business at home against Curry in what was a big region game for the Aggies, who are now 13-12 overall and, more importantly, 4-2 in the region, putting them in a three-way tie right now. The Aggies will look to host the area tournament along with the Lady Aggies. Their regular season finale is at home against Brewer on Thursday.
West Point 62, Cold Springs 26 (Girls)
West Point's girls got some big-time payback against Cold Springs on Tuesday night. Five days after the Lady Eagles eliminated the Lady Warriors from the Cullman County Basketball Tournament at Wallace with the 19-0 fourth quarter, West Point never let Cold Springs get going from the start, rolling to a dominating win at home to hit the 20-win mark at 20-8 overall. The Lady Eagles fall to 15-12 overall.
West Point 62, Cold Springs 36 (Boys)
The Warriors rolled past Cold Springs at home to improve to 15-13 overall, and will travel to Holly Pond in the rematch of the county championship game.
The Eagles will travel to Locust Fork on Thursday.
Oakman 48, Meek 47 (Girls)
The Meek Lady Tigers fell just one point short in their regular season finale at home against Oakman. They finish with a 15-11 regular season record and will be the no. 2 seed in the area tournament starting next week.
Meek 77, Oakman 47 (Boys)
Meek won in impressive fashion against Oakman in the Tigers' regular season finale at home. They finish the regular season with a 22-5 record and will be the no. 2 seed in the upcoming area tournament which starts next Tuesday.
St. Bernard 40, Whitesburg Christian 28 (Boys)
The Saints are now 2-0 on their current four-game road trip after defeating Whitesburg Christian, and are now 12-4 overall on the season. Christian Peterson led the Saints with 17 points. Carson Holmes and Alec vonThulen each had six. Gavin Whaley got nine rebounds. St. Bernard won the coin toss and will host the area tournament starting next week. The Saints will continue their road trip on Thursday at Southeastern.
