Ada Joyce Patton, 83 of Double Springs, entered into rest on January 25, 2018 at her home.
Joyce was born on December 18, 1934, in Cordova, Alabama. She was a longtime member of Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Black Pond Community, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Brother Mickey Millican will officiate.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Gary Stanley, David (Sandra) Patton; daughters, Charlotte (Randy) Adair, Patty Patton Sides; brothers, Terry Vines, J.C. (Nona) Vines; sister, Linda Kilgore; she was “Maw Maw” to 5 grandchildren, Bubba, Melinda, Latasha, Joshua, Tara; great grandchildren, Bryant, Destini, Brennen, Andrew, Austin, Marley, and Abbey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald David Patton; parents, Harry and Nancy Vines.
