Brewer 63, Cullman 58 (Girls)
Cullman took on Brewer at home hoping to pull off an upset over the No. 8 Lady Patriots. After trailing 43-31 at the half, the Lady Bearcats staged a second-half comeback to get back in the game, but their rally fell just short at the end in a tough area loss. Cullman falls to 14-10 overall and 3-2 in the area.
Cullman 63, Brewer 49 (Boys)
Cullman trailed 35-33 at the half against Brewer, but a huge second half by the Bearcats propelled them to a huge area win at home. They improve to 16-12 overall and 3-3 in the region. They are now 4-1 in the last five games. Their next game will be on the road against Mortimer Jordan on Thursday.
St. Bernard 47, Athens Bible 24 (Girls)
The Lady Saints rolled past Athens Bible at home in Monday night action.
Athens Bible 61, St. Bernard 46 (Boys)
St. Bernard looked to extend its winning streak to 10 in a row at home against Athens Bible, but the Saints fell at home and the winning streak is now snapped. They fall to 10-4 on the season and will travel to Winston County on Thursday in an important area game.
