CULLMAN – Cullman Regional’s Cullman Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is hosting its third annual 911 Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, Feb.10, with all proceeds benefiting Saving Forgotten Warriors. The event will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The registration fee for entering a chili recipe is $10 and is open to law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel and dispatchers. Community members are invited to attend and vote for their favorite chili.
Awards will be given:
- Popular vote- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
- Director’s Choice Award- given by Cullman EMS Director James Curtis
- Hottest Chili Award
- Also, anyone who makes a donation will have the opportunity to win door prizes.
“This event is a time where those who serve their community come together for some friendly competition,” Curtis said. “It’s a great way for us to be able to meet the people of the community we serve, as well as an opportunity to give back to our community.”
