Danny Dewey Mann, 66 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born on June 16, 1951 in Nauvoo. He was a graduate of the Class of 1970 at Winston County High School and was a member of First Baptist Church, Double Springs. He worked for Southern Energy Homes for many years. Danny was the greatest uncle and a huge Alabama football fan. He was lovingly known by family and friends as “Tuck” “Dan Dann” and “Uncle Dan.”
Visitation and services were held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, with burial in Old Enon Cemetery. Brother George Whitten and Brother Mark Daniel officiated.
Danny is survived by his wife of 18 years, Angela Mann; brother, Bill Mann; sisters, Virginia Smith, Mavis Cauthen and Bettye Lackner; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Flora Mann; brother, JR Mann; and sister, Imogene Watkins.
