Fairview's boys took part in the Bojangles Shootout at Wallace State, taking on Southside. They had a nine-point lead with four minutes remaining in the game, but bad free-throw shooting kept Southside in the game and the Panthers came back to tie the game at 57 on a made three with 40 seconds left. The game eventually went to overtime, and a late Aggie turnover proved costly as Southside hit a layup to win the game, 61-59. The Aggies fall to 10-11 on the season and will take on Holly Pond on Thursday instead of Tuesday due to inclement weather.
