Cullman 63, Carver (B'ham) 52 (Boys)

Cullman welcomed the Carver Rams to the Cullman campus after the Bearcats' game against Randolph got canceled due to the flu at the school in Huntsville. After a close first half, Cullman pulled away in the second and had to hold off a late Carver rally in the fourth quarter to take it at the end. The Bearcats improve to 14-9 on the season, and will travel to Decatur next Tuesday.

Hanceville 57, Oakman 39 (Girls)

Hanceville clinched the Class 3A, Area 12 title at home against Oakman after pulling away in the second half.  The Lady Bulldogs improve to 11-8 overall and are 5-0 in the area. They will head home to take on Vinemont next Tuesday. 

Hanceville 66, Oakman 64 (Boys)

The Hanceville boys got a big area win at home against Oakman to stay alive in the race for the area title. The Bulldogs’ record is now 11-7 overall and 4-1 in the area.

Addison 58, Winston County 53 (Girls)

Addison's girls lost to Winston County eight days ago, and they avenged that loss by getting a big win on the road tonight. They improve to 12-6 overall, and will participate in the Winston County Tournament starting next Tuesday. 

Winston County 41, Addison 39 (Boys)

Meek 34, Lynn 17 (Girls)

The Meek Lady Tigers took a huge area game on the road to clinch the Class 1A, Area 12 title in a defensive affair. They go to 14-7 overall and 6-1 in the area and will participate in the Winston County Tournament starting next Tuesday.

Meek 42, Lynn 30 (Boys)

Meek took care of business on the road to clinch the Class 1A, Area 12 title in a low-scoring game. The Tigers increase their winning streak to six to improve to 17-4 overall and are 7-0 in the area and will be a part of the Winston County Tournament.

The St. Bernard homecoming games scheduled for Friday night were postponed. The Vinemont v. Carbon Hill girls’ game will take place Saturday.
