CULLMAN – The Cullman County Animal Shelter’s Donna Ruttkay introduces us to Brutus, an 18-month-old male terrier hound mix that was confiscated from his former owner in an animal cruelty case.
Now, things have changed. With a little love from the staff and volunteers at the shelter, Brutus has developed a love for the great outdoors, and has even become a backpack enthusiast!
Ruttkay called Brutus a “wonderfully versatile companion: jogging partner, model, wants to be loved! Likes to walk by your side, on his leash, with his backpack on, filled with water for you and him! No better companion. The outside is just a disguise, he's sooo funny and goofy!”
Brutus’s adoption fee is $90, and that includes the following: DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet, neutering, microchip, free 45-day health insurance policy issued by 24PetWatch (with valid email only) and a free bag of food from Cullman Pet Depot (you must pay sales tax).
Please consider adopting to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
