CULLMAN – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is now accepting applications for the next session of its popular Citizens’ Academy. The nine-week program begins on Feb. 20 and will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. There is no fee.
Highlights of the course include a SWAT Team demo, tour of the Cullman County Detention Center, a morning at the shooting range and classrooms speakers from the sheriff’s office and various state agencies.
Applications may be obtained at the CCSO, which is located at 1910 Beech Avenue, SE in Cullman.
