Funeral service for James Sherrell Rhodes, 79, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethsadia Cemetery, Bro. Mike Tidwell and Bro. Carlton Bates officiating. Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Rhodes passed away December 31, 2017. He was born November 17, 1938 to parents, James Elvie & Derinda Inez Young Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kennon Rhodes. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Alice White Rhodes; son, James Keith Rhodes; daughter, Becky Rhodes (Randy) Aaron; brother, Maxie (Diann) Rhodes; sister, Doris (Martin) Merriman; grandchildren, Cathy Rhodes (Phillip) Hillman, James Brandon Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Emma & Alli Tucker-Hillman, Audree Hillman; sister-in-law, Sue Jordan Rhodes; host of family and friends.
